This is my personal blog, right? iPhone tutorials and what-not are just taking up valuable personal space. So all the iPhone stuff is moving. Where? Right over there. Go on, look! Over there! Just there! Can’t you see it? Oh, OK, I’ll give you a link. Here – http://iphoneitouch.wordpress.com – happy now? Now go! Run to the blog! Unless of course you don’t want to read about the iPhone. Then you are allowed to stay here.

It’s Finally Here!

25 09 2008

As you are probably already aware, because you have a very keen eye (why not play Spot the Difference?), the iPhone Style Icon Tutorial is open for business! If you can’t find it, it’s up the top, along with all the other pages. See it? Good! So, here we are, nine days after I promised you the tutorial, and it’s here! Yay! Get going, and make some icons! Also, email the icons you make as a JPEG to

josh [dot] sunshine [at] btinternet [dot] com

and I’ll put them on the Icon Downloads page!

Coming Soon To A Blog Near You…

16 09 2008

First things first, nothing interesting happened today, considering there was school today. I got some French homework – learn 10 words, including “enfin” (lastly, finally).

But the main section of this post is to tell you about the upcoming feature of Mr Cheese’s Random Ramblings: a tutorial telling you how to make your own iPhone Style Icons. Won’t that be fun? Check back soon to get your share of the icon-making pie!

Google Goodness

15 09 2008

I checked Google today to see the status of the Mr Cheese blog, and when I searched for “iPhone Style Icon”, guess what? Out of ‘About 1,740,000’, the Mr Cheese’s Icon Page places 4th! Picture proof:

That’s actually very surprising! Although I haven’t noticed any of you actually downloading the icons! Please do – I’m updating them so they look even better! That’s it for today, come back tomorrow!

Yippee For Apple!

9 09 2008

I’m very happy today, because Apple held their “Let’s Rock” event today. Amongst iTunes 8, which now features HD TV shows, the new iPod Nano, which comes in:

  • Silver
  • Black
  • Purple
  • Blue
  • Green
  • Yellow
  • Orange
  • Red and
  • Oink (otherwise known as Pink)

and also features an iPhone-esque accelerometer which enables Cover Flow and Shake-to-Shuffle. But my favourite part? The new, thinner, better, iPod Touch! Seeing as I want one of my October birthday, this is a good time to release a new one. It includes a built-in speaker, a better UI (User Interface) and they’ve redesigned it to look like an iPhone. Yay! Although I haven’t read the price section yet…

Edit > Undo

23 08 2008

I decided that I would return to the original theme because I thought the other one was too dark and depressing. There is still one slight difference though: I made a new image header, again using Photoshop Elements, but I did it without help from the book this time. Hope you like it!

I feel now is a good time for a side-note:

Although I do still have some games left to make icons for to upload here, I am running low. Please, please, suggest some more for me to do by emailing your suggestion to:

josh [dot] sunshine [at] btinternet [dot] com

and I will put it into the queue of icons to make!
