Drawing With A Finger

28 02 2009

Ever since I got my iPod Touch, I’ve had Sketches, the drawing app with a corkboard. I want to take this post to showcase some of the drawings I’ve done in those few months. Let’s go!

Shop Till We Drop (Day 8)

16 11 2008

Yesterday we started off by going to WonderWorks, a science-y hands-on place, followed by laser tag (which I won) and then on to the shops. We had chili-cheese fries at Johnny Rockets and a milkshake for lunch. Then we went to Mall at Millenia where, for the first time ever, I went into an Apple Store and bought something! I got a new pair of headphones for my iPod Touch which have an in-built microphone. We came back to the villa from a swim, then headed back out to Downtown Disney, followed by Walmart. We got home at about 11.

Happy Birthday!

18 10 2008

Today, as you probably guessed, was my birthday. Well, I say this, but it was also Harry’s birthday as well. How’s that for bad planning? Anyway, what did I get other than Spore?

An iPod Touch (which I’m using to type this)
A 1TB external hard drive (which we had to send back as it didn’t work)
$100 (yes, it was American dollars!)
A case for my iPod
3 books
Another £40 to make £105
£20 iTunes voucher

So, it was a good 15th birthday! And to top it off, we went to the Thai Elephant 2 in Peacehaven for an all-you-can-eat dinner!

Check out one of the cards I got!

PS Episode 2 of Mr Cheese’s Stop Motion Show went live today. See you soon!

Migration, Jr.

This is my personal blog, right? iPhone tutorials and what-not are just taking up valuable personal space. So all the iPhone stuff is moving. Where? Right over there. Go on, look! Over there! Just there! Can’t you see it? Oh, OK, I’ll give you a link. Here – http://iphoneitouch.wordpress.com – happy now? Now go! Run to the blog! Unless of course you don’t want to read about the iPhone. Then you are allowed to stay here.

Yippee For Apple!

9 09 2008

I’m very happy today, because Apple held their “Let’s Rock” event today. Amongst iTunes 8, which now features HD TV shows, the new iPod Nano, which comes in:

  • Silver
  • Black
  • Purple
  • Blue
  • Green
  • Yellow
  • Orange
  • Red and
  • Oink (otherwise known as Pink)

and also features an iPhone-esque accelerometer which enables Cover Flow and Shake-to-Shuffle. But my favourite part? The new, thinner, better, iPod Touch! Seeing as I want one of my October birthday, this is a good time to release a new one. It includes a built-in speaker, a better UI (User Interface) and they’ve redesigned it to look like an iPhone. Yay! Although I haven’t read the price section yet…
